【BEFORE FIRST USE】
Wash cookware thoroughly in hot soapy water, rinse and dry completely before first use to remove any manufacturing residue.
【PRE-HEATING】
Best results are obtained on a low to medium heat setting. Food usually sticks when an incorrect heat setting is used or if the cookware is used for too long on a high heat setting. It is essential that the cookware is pre-heated slowly. If the cookware is heated up too fast on a high heat setting, the cast iron expands faster than the enamel, leading to chipping of the enamel.
【GENERAL USE】
Please note that this cookware does not require high heat, use medium to low heat settings to maintain ideal cooking temperatures. This cookware is suitable for all heat sources except microwave. Stand hot pans on a trivet, board or cloth and not directly on unprotected work surfaces. When using the cookware on solid or halogen hobs, always lift them (do not slide) to move. Always use an oven glove to remove the cookware from the hob as the handle will become hot during use.
【UTENSILS TO USE】
Metal spoons and cooking utensils may scratch or damage the enamel, use only wooden or nylon utensils.
【CLEANING AND STORAGE】
This product should be hand washed only. After each use, thoroughly wash cookware in hot soapy water. For stubborn marks use nylon scourers or a non-abrasive cleaner, never use a steel, metal or powder based cleaner as these can scratch the surface. It is better to hand dry the cookware thoroughly after cleaning than leaving to drain/drip dry.
【Caution】
Electric hobs are capable of higher temperatures and generate a higher heat. Medium heat is recommended. Please use extra caution when cooking at high temperature. The pan should be cooled down slowly and not plunged into cold water as cast iron is a brittle material.
